As someone who was born, raised, and educated in Portugal, my connection to the Portuguese language runs far deeper than vocabulary and grammar. It is a part of my identity, rooted in family heritage, academic study, and everyday life.

 

For newcomers to Portugal, I know from my own experience living abroad how important it is to feel a sense of belonging in a new country.
